Introducing Henri Pendleton

This is our newest furry family addition named Henri. Baby Luke will have a big brother to play with!

I ordered this book online and its so cute! I took pictures of a few pages so that you can see some of the designs. I can't wait to start writing in it!

Lately I've been having some weird dreams. Two in particular I remember. One was scary because I feeding Luke and then lost him in the couch! Another one I was going into labor and we went to the hospital in Baton Rouge (I dont know why because we're not delivering there) and the hospital room looked just like my childhood bedroom. Weird!

Today baby Luke is 30 weeks old in the womb! 10 weeks (70 days) to go! He's about 3 lbs and about 15 inches long. Our last appointment went well. His heartbeat was 137 and I was measuring right on track. When I laid down for her to check those things, Aaron noticed my belly was lopsided. The doctor felt around and said it was probably his little butt in the air! Too cute. I think I felt him kick way up in my ribs. Sometimes it hurts, but it's always comforting to feel him move. Love you sweet baby!

11 more weeks

Just thought I'd give a quick update. Tomorrow makes the 29 week mark and that means 11 weeks left! I passed my glucose screening test. Baby is about the size of a butternut squash. Weighing about 2.5 pounds. I'm really feeling him move around a lot. He's been doing flips and kicks that make my whole belly move! I think I even felt him with the hiccups. Its getting really hard to shave my legs and paint my toenails.
Doctors appointments are every two weeks now and my baby shower is in about a month. My friend Eric took some maternity pictures for us so once I get the disk I will post some!

Saints championship ring

Last night we had a lot of fun with great friends! We went to Rock-n-bowl and partied with the Bucktown all stars! Our friends Mandy and Zach Strief were there, and Zach was so nice to let me wear his superbowl championship ring! I felt like a champion too!

All of these photos were taken with the iphone! We have to remember to tell Luke how popular the iphone is.. and who knows what kind of phones we'll have when he gets big! And maybe one day he'll have his own superbowl championship ring! :) no pressure, Luke.

nursery

Here are details of the nursery! We haven't decided on a few things such as where exactly the crib and dresser are going to go (crib under window or dresser under window) and where to hang his letters. Notice the middle picture the crib is under window, but first picture the dresser is under window... decisions! Eventually the dresser is going to have a changing pad on it to change his diaper so everything on there now will have a new place.
